Yoga in Khao Lak
Whether you’re training Muay Thai at our gym or you are an outside guest staying in Khao Lak looking to join a Yoga class during your holiday here in Thailand, Rawai Muay Thai can help. There are not many Yoga teachers in Khao Lak so getting your daily stretch is not easy. At Rawai Muay Thai we have 3 Yoga Classes a week and there is no need to book in advance, just turn up 10 minutes before the starting time.
Yoga Khao Lak and Muay Thai
Yoga can really compliment your Muay Thai Training, all that running, and kicking can create some real stiffness in your muscles. Thai Boxing also requires a person to be more flexible and even though we do stretching before and after each session, a dedicated hour of Yoga will not just help with your flexibility and posture but your recovery as well. Compliment that with our Khao Lak Massage and you will be well on your way to a stronger, healthier you.
Our Yoga classes are not just about stretching and recovery either. A lot can be said for the practice of Yoga for Martial Arts, not just for one’s ability to kick another person in the head but for the longevity of a person’s body in one of the hardest combat sports in the world. If you wish to reap the benefits of training hard then you must learn how to recover hard as well.
Benefits of Yoga

Benefits of Yoga for Men
Majority of Yoga Classes are filled with women and most Muay Thai Camps are filled with men. But there are a lot of Benefits of Yoga for Men that go way beyond their Muay Thai Training. For instance, men who regularly train, tend to do more types of exercises that would involve only a few out of the 10 components of physical fitness and women who train regularly tend to have a more even and overall balanced workout routine. Men need to think more along the lines of joint mobility, flexibility, agility, balance and range of motion rather than smashing some weight to gain strength and power. At Rawai Muay Thai our Khao Lak Yoga classes aim to even out some of the imbalances in our run of the mill fitness routine. We highly recommend the guys at our gym to add Yoga to their training routine to see even greater results, not just in their Muay Thai Training but in the overall fitness, health and well-being.
